Our Journey to the Kyffhäuserreich - End of the line, please get out?!

Ever since I became aware of previously unrecorded “Kyffhäuserreich” songs from 1996-1997, I've attached great importance to the album as a missing piece of the puzzle from the band's first incarnation. I was curious about what the songs would sound like and wanted to make it happen. After a few conversations with DMD in 2012, I was able to convince him to entrust me with the material to record it when the time was right. The premise from Doom's side was that JFN would be nowhere near this release. He did several rehearsal recordings that we used as a guide for the recording.

Anyway, JFN recently got hold of the earliest version of DOOM's demo recordings and is freely planning a release with it.

- The intellectual property of others? As always, he doesn't care!

- There is a contract for these songs that he also has? No problem at all!

- He has been pouring gallons of manure over the creator of these songs for years and denounces him wherever he can? But still has no problem at all with profiting from his work? Who cares about that! Business as usual! Nothing will happen.

Unfortunately, that's not going to work, missy!

Then there's the announcement that the album contains 2 bonus songs that were intended for “Blutgericht”, which is another joke. I wrote Blutgericht except for the Heldentum cover version and “Totentanzlied aus Flandern”, recorded every instrument and contributed vocals, and it has exactly the songs it needs. A new intervention in this album by someone who had nothing more to do with it than to contribute lyrics to one song, is a travesty.
