Jord (Swedish for "Earth") is a Swedish Atmospheric Black Metal solo-project with Blackgaze, Post Metal and Post Rock influences.

The new album „Måne” continues the story from the debut, but where „Sol” spoke about his relationship to Mother Earth and inner growth, „Måne” goes out on a journey to fight the battle and live the life he’s been preparing for. He sold his house, almost everything he owned and just left.

It also has a different structure than the “Sol”, with more synthesizers, strings and clean vocals to capture the journey and all its nuances as much as possible, trying to deliver a feeling of presence in the story. 

Musical inspiration comes from artists like Alcest, Enslaved, Katatonia, Opeth, Emperor, Marduk & The Sisters Of Mercy to name a few. The beautiful cover art was once again painted by Northem Art.
