"Whistles" - a special new edition (7th so far!) of the famous deep ambient album by Donatas Bielkauskas, who performed this music with authentic clay whistles made by Lituanian sculptor Antanas Mončys (1921-1993). This edition is dedicated to 100 Anniversary of A. Mončys in 2021.
Album presents a delicate, profound, enshrouding ambient depth. A skilful touch of other instruments is very fractional and delightful. Unique natural sounding brings meditative atmosphere, gently drifting into primeval arcane world, reminding a feel of the early Wejdas records.
Antanas Mončys made his clay whistles in the period of 1975-1978.
